Hello SC families! A couple of reminders–
Grand Friend mass is on 9/25.

Vocabulary: The students learn 20 words of vocab each week and take a test on Friday. There are various activities each week to aid students in understanding the words. These activities include making a word wall (with illustrations), flash cards, and writing sentences. There are also stories and sentences in the vocab book to use for further understanding.
Social Studies: We finished learning about Africa and have moved on to Europe. We will explore North America/South America/Canada. We will then begin more specific history of the United States (after American Revolution). We also focus each day on a current events program and have a quiz on the program.
