Reading: We have been reviewing comprehension and reading through different short holiday themed stories.
Religion: We will begin Lesson 6, Learning about God’s Law. In this unit we will look at the Ten Commandments and how those are the laws in which God wants us to live by.
Social Studies: We have started our next region, The West. We will be looking at the geography, climate, resources and land formations. Get ready to help your student study the next set of Capitals! (Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, Nevada, Utah, Colorado, Alaska, Washington, Oregon, California and Hawaii).
Research Project: States have been chosen and the research has begun.
Research Packet and float are due by January 20th! Make sure your float includes the following:

Important Information!
VIRTUS! In order to volunteer, (This applies to classroom parties, lunch volunteering and being a chaperone on a fieldtrip) you must be Virtus Compliant. Please visit https://stcletusschool.com/volunteering/ or reach out to the school office with any questions. This is a mandatory requirement from the Archdiocese.
Looking to sign up for hot lunch? Make sure to set up an account here! Ledo’s pizza requires ordering two days prior to delivery.
Test Corrections: While test corrections are not mandatory, they are highly encouraged to do if the score is below 90%. Each corrected problem is able to gain back ½ of the point value. For corrections, they should be done on a separate sheet of paper, not written on the original test. From the day the test is given back, the students only have two days to make their corrections. Anything past this will not be accepted. (Unless your student was absent).
Mass: We will be attending 8am Mass each Tuesday. Students should be dropped off at their regular drop off points and head into the classroom. School doors will open at 7:45 am to allow students time to put away their belongings and head to the church as a class. Students arriving late should head straight to church.
