¡Nos Encanta Aprender! 1/20/25- 1/24/25

We love to learn in our Dual Language class!

This week, we focused on the letter Nn and made a craft of an animal that starts with the letter Nn, nutria (otter). As soon as I began explaining the craft, our students associated nutria with Norma Nutria 🦦 from our Zoo Phonics curriculum. They are adorable!

We keep practicing our números en español from 0-22 counting upwards and we also counting backwards. We did all of this during our morning routine and during our centers. También (also), we are now going to start using scissors on our own. We have been practicing, and I can tell they are ready! During our lesson of Jesus calming the storm, our students were very attentive as they learned how Jesus spoke to the thunder and how the weather calmed down.

Next week we will be focusing on letter Ññ. We will continue practicing our numbers and continue expanding our vocabulary. We also have a fun week ahead. It’s Catholic Schools Week!

As previously mentioned, we start introducing a mystery reader. Stay tuned next week for updates!
