This Week in Class:
This week we learned all about the letter Bb! We practiced how to say it, recognize it, and we also reviewed las vocales (a, e, i, o, u) to keep our learning strong.
Each day, we continue to practice our calendario, where students learn about the days of the week, months, numbers, and weather, all in Spanish! We’ve also been learning new songs to make our mornings extra fun and engaging. 🎶
During Heggerty, we are practicing combining syllables to make words. Heggerty is a very important part of our literacy routine because it is completely auditory . I give instructions, and students listen carefully and respond. This week’s Heggerty song was “Tortillitas.”
To wrap up our week, we enjoyed a fun craft ¡Burbujas grandes! The children had a wonderful time creating and exploring with bubbles as we celebrated everything we learned about the letter B.
