We had such a wonderful week!
We learned all about the letter Gg, estrellas (stars) and the number 9! It has been very helpful to stay consistent with our calendar and using all the resources that are given to us. Our students are beginning to recall the shapes and the sounds by themselves. I am extremely proud of them! Every week, as we introduce our letters, we add the 5 vocales to make a silaba (syllable), and our students are beginning to master this process. We also, read De la cabeza a los pies by Eric Carle. We keep learning about our body in Spanish! This week, we also had our first PBIS raffle. LUCA was our first winner! WOO-HOO!!!

We have also been working very hard with our friends in Prek 3 and JK, to rehearse for our Christmas program. We can’t wait for the day of the performance to come!
Next week, we will be reviewing all materials that we have covered thus far and do activities in which we show our gratitud (gratitude) for everything we are thankful for. We cannot believe that this is the end of the first trimester and I am so proud of our students progress.
