Preschool 3-March 22, 2024

All of us in Preschool celebrated St. Patrick’s Day on Monday.  We read some great books, dressed in green, made a collage shamrock that explained why we were lucky and then we turned into little leprechauns with our fun masks!  Look above at the cutest little leprechauns ever! If you’re lucky enough to be in Preschool, you’re lucky enough:)  Our letter focus was “Tt” and we created turtles for our learning line.  We concluded Unit One in our Religion program with our unit called I am Happy.  This lesson helped the children to express their appreciation and happiness for God’s love and the gift of life.  Next week, we will focus on the story of Easter and the letter Uu.  Creating bunnies with pom pom painting was messy, but lots of fun!  It was our first Easter art project and we will continue next week with Spring watercolor painting.  During centers, we used our pom poms to count in our bunny ten frames and to make lots of capital letters.  Last, we are beginning to practice writing our names.  This skill will continue to evolve throughout our last trimester.  Our last trimester will be a very exciting one with lots of learning and fun.  Our year has flown by so quickly!  How can there only be 46 days left of our school year?
