Fall was in the air this week and we celebrated our new season all week long! We read many books about the season, falling leaves and apples. We painted our fingerprints on apple trees and discussed how God gave each of us unique one of a kind fingerprints. In our centers, we counted apples and leaves and decorated an apple with lots of squares…our shape of the week. During our TLC class, Mr. Ochoa let us meet the R2D2 Robot! Our Religion lesson this week was all about our smile! God gave us our smile to help us express our feelings of happiness. Looking at our photos, we can see how happy our Preschool Kiddos are feeling! We celebrated our 2nd birthday of the school year. Thank you to Frankie and his family for the yummy treats. We ended our week with our first PBIS prize drawing.
All the kids had earned tickets for showing respect, responsibility and compassion. I am proud of all of Preschool Kids for the progress they have made this year! During this week, we discussed what responsibility looks like in the classroom, the halls and on the playground.
Last but not least, we became some of the first St. Cletus students to play in the new playground! Before we played, we discussed the rules and then enjoyed popsicles, thanks to the Little Cardinals! Thank you to the Moms who came out to host this special event. A great time was had by all and we look forward to many fun days of play this school year.
Next week, we are looking forward to our dental assembly, school pictures and more fun fall learning:)

Half Day(Mon., Wed., Fri.)Students-On Picture Day, students should come to the school office between 8:30 and 10:00am, dressed appropriately for a photograph. Please park on Stone Avenue in the angled parking spaces and walk to the school office entrance to Door #2. Students will be escorted from the school office to Morrissey Hall for their photographs.
