Semana de las Escuelas Católicas 1/27/25 – 1/31/25

Cheers to celebrating our first of many Catholic Schools Weeks as a Dual Language Immersion family!

This week was so much fun! We leaned all about the letter Ññ and finished number 15.  We will continue with number 16 next week.  We are still continuing to work on our letters and vowels!

Our students are taking the lead during calendar/circle time, confidently demonstrating what they have learned in class so far.  This week we learned about Jonah during Religion. We saw a vegetales movie related to what we learned in class. We did a very cute and funny craft for the letter of the week, un ñandú.  On Thursday, we had Icees to celebrate our students and show our appreciation. We cheered on 1st through 8th grade during our annual Red and White game. It was so much fun to sit in and watch and also to tell our students that this something that they can look forwards to as they get older.

Next week, we will be learning about letter Oo and we will also be doing a fun craft connected to the letter. We will also celebrate 100 days of school! We will continue talking about being kind, sharing and loving God. We will also continue practicing our morning routine and our class jobs.

Check out a VIDEO on our YouTube Channel of our students showing what they have learned!
