This Week’s Focus: Letra/Vocal Ee
This week in Pre-K 4, we explored the exciting world of the letter E/e!
We learned the sound the letter makes and practiced recognizing words that begin with Ee. One of our favorite characters from Zoophonics made an appearance — Eli Elefante! The children loved meeting Eli and connecting the letter to movement and sound.
Craft of the Week: Espejo (Mirror)
Mrs. Perez led us in a super fun craft this week — we made our very own Espejos (mirrors)!
Using shiny foil, pom poms, and other fun materials, the students got creative and had a blast designing their unique mirrors. They were so proud to take them home!
Language Time with Ms. N
One of Ms. N’s favorite parts of the day is our Heggerty time! During this activity, we:

Practice syllables

Explore new Spanish vocabulary

Sing fun canciones infantiles (children’s songs)
This week, we learned the beautiful song “La Lechuza.” We also talked about what a lechuza is — a Spanish word for owl.
Outdoor Fun & Routines
We’ve been enjoying our time outside, and we’re beginning to settle into our routines beautifully. It’s been amazing to see the students becoming more independent, confident, and excited about learning each day.
