Hi Parents:
It’s almost time to celebrate the birth of our Lord. Tomorrow is our last day, and many wishes to all for a Safe and Happy Holiday Season. It will be nice to spend time with family, and also remember the reason for the season.
First Grade was very busy this past week, with making presents for our parents and thinking about the baby Jesus. We made beautiful Advent posters, and wrote our thoughts about Advent each week.
In Math, we are busy finishing up book 6 on addition and subtraction, In Superkids, we are reading stories that are harder and require us to use our decoding skills to sound out the words. In Language Arts, we wrote a cute story using adjectives, and are looking forward to writing more in the new year.
St. Cletus school is such a busy place, but we always have time to help each other out. PBIS has been running smoothly, and First Grade actually is the Class of the month! Jr. Kindergarten, along with Fifth Grade also received this special honor. We want to show everyone that we know our Cardinal values, and that we live by them. We are respectful, responsible, and compassionate. This is what it means to be a cardinal. A St. Cletus cardinal, you bet!!
