First Grade Fun!

Hi Parents!
Catholic Schools Week is upon us! This is the best week of our school year, as we love to showcase our wonderful school. We have lots going on, so feel free to join us as often as you can.
Sunday, January 26- We start out at 10:30 Mass with our faculty and parishioners. It’s always nice to see many of the school families here too. After Mass, come to the school for our Open House from 11:30-2:30. Check out all the classrooms, with their projects and art projects displayed for all to see. As you can see, our students have been working very hard and the result is amazing!
Monday, January 27- Wear your favorite plaid shirt day! We wear our school uniforms with our favorite plaid shirt. We also have a Math competition in class- let’s challenge each other! First grade will be having a Math Bee!
Tuesday, January 28- Our School is SOUPER! Regular dress today. We have 8:00 am Mass. Bring a can of soup to donate to the food pantry. We will also be writing a letter as to why we strongly agree that “God Is Present In My life.” Very powerful and very true.
Wednesday, January 29- Teacher Appreciation Day!
Teachers can dress down and enjoy lunch from the FSA. Students can wear Spirit Wear.
Thursday, January 30-Student Appreciation Day! Board Games, and Buddies! Teachers will find a time during the day to share some special time with their buddies. Full dress down for students. No homework day! Freeze pops for students.
Friday, January 31- Red & White Day! Red & White Game
Students in grades 1-8, wear your assigned red or white color along with gym shoes for the red and white volleyball games. The times are different for every grade level. First grade plays from 8:30-9:00. Please come cheer us on! We always love to see parents and special people at our games. Spirit wear for everyone else that isn’t involved in the volleyball games.
