Hello, parents!
I hope everyone is staying warm on this cold winter day. We have been very busy the last few weeks. Let’s see what we have been up to!
In Religion, we are learning about our Parish, and our School. We learned who makes up the Church, and what we can do to keep the Church going strong.
In Superkids, we are reading a great story about a talent show. We love reading in groups, and we are able to read more fluently now.
In Spelling, we are learning contractions. These words are a little harder, but we will master them. We are writing them 3x each, and continue to practice them at home and school.
In Language Arts, we are writing a personal narrative. We took an experience from our lives, and are using pictures and words to tell about it.
In Social Studies, we are learning about farmers, transportation, and famous people in history. We learned a bit about past presidents, since celebrating presidents day this month.
We did a great job with our habitats! They have been on display in front of Morrissey Hall the past 3 weeks. We are so proud of the great job we have done. Each habitat is quite different, and that’s what makes it so special.
Mark your calendars to see the production of “Frozen, Jr.” on February 27 and 28. It should be a spectacular show!!
Remember, it’s a great day to be a cardinal. You bet!!!
