What a great Catholic Schools week! We have had so much fun this week. Thank you to all the families who came out to say “HELLO” on Sunday. Our school is such a great place to learn and grow and we have a LOT of fun doing it:)
We have had a BLAST learning all about the Arctic animals! We have learned so many fun facts!
AND…. we got LOTS of outdoor playtime!!! Your kids could not be happier to be back in the fresh air!
Monday, we will have one last day with Arctic Animals! With show and tell, Groundhog day hat making with Buddies, and Cheering on the Red and White volleyball games, we will sneak in our last Arctic Animal activity on Monday!
Questions for your children:
-What were some of the show and tell items?
-Who won the the long standing tradition of the Red and white game? Red team or White team?
Religion: We will be focusing on LOVE and Friendship for Valentine’s day! God asks one thing of us and that is to LOVE ONE ANOTHER. We do that by treating our friends with love, respect and kindness each day!
Literacy: Your children are doing amazing with Phonemic awareness each day! We will continue working on letter sounds and proper formation as well. Next week is letter /c/ and /k/.
Math: Graphing, ten frames, and and lots of number games at center and calendar each day!
Science: We are loving all the sensory activities with the Arctic Animals.
Have a great weekend!
