We had a great week in JK! The weather was beautiful and allowed us to get lots of fresh air! We also watched the dress rehearsal for the Frozen play. So much TALENT, and a wonderful heart warming performance by all!

This past week we worked on Emotions. The kids loved talking about a new emotion each day! They will be bring home their booklet today. We hope you enjoy hearing all about their many emotions:)
Questions to ask your children:

• Who was your favorite character in the Frozen play?
• Which emotion was your favorite?
Religion: Lent starts this week. We have mass next Tuesday at 8 and again on Ash Wednesday at 10 am. Please join us if you can! We also have Stations of the Cross on Fridays at 2:30 lead by the students in the church. We do not participate on Fridays. We do discuss the stations as a class but in a age appropriate way. The stations are not only a basis of our faith, but also how we learn compassion for others.
Literacy: Lots of rhyming this week with Dr. Seuss! In honor of his birthday we will be reading lots of fun books! We will have
We will also continue with our daily review of Jolly Phonics and also phonemic awareness.
Math: our number work continues daily. We are working on teen numbers which can be tricky.
Science: The Daily Meteorologist reporter is going well! Your kids s are so proud reporting the weather.
