Happy Friday Families!
Here is what we did in Pre-K 3 this week!
Looking back…
*This week, explored the Fall theme! Our little learners discovered the beauty of fall through hands on activities, sensory experiences and creative projects!
*We went on a Leaf Hunt and learned why trees lose their leaves.
*Practiced fine motor skills by cutting and tearing leaves.
*Created seasonal artwork with our Q-Tip Fall painting!
*Worked together to make leaves “fly” in our parachute game!
.
MARK YOUR CALENDAR…
Monday, October 27– Wear Pink & bring $1 to support Breast Cancer
Tuesday, October 28– Crazy sock day & bring in a canned food item to support our Food Pantry!
Wednesday, October 29– Decade Day, dress up as your favorite decade
Thursday, October 30– Hawaiian Day!
Friday, October 31- Preschool Halloween Party!
.
REMINDERS…
Next week is Red Ribbon Week! A flyer with all of our fun dress up days was sent home as a reminder!
As we get into the cooler weather…. make sure to send your child with appropriate clothing to go outside! We are outside almost every day, even in the Winter!
Please practice with your child on how to put on jackets and clothing independently. Independence is a HUGE part of preschool!
.
Let’s Give Them Something to Talk About…
Below are some suggestions to engage your child in a conversation about what they did at school!
*Did you find any leaves on your leaf hunt?
*Was it hard or easy to make the leaves fly into the air with the sheet?
*What happens to the leaves in Fall? (They change color and fall off of their branches)
Have an amazing weekend,
Mrs. Arlowe
