Here is a look into our packed week of Pre-K!

Looking back…
*This week we learned all about Names and introduced the letter C!
*We learned about our schoolwide program PBIS and had an all school assembly.
*We read the book “I’m Going to Mass” as we get ready to join the school in our weekly Tuesday mass in October!
*We learned about bus safety in our Bus Evacuation Drill!
*We learned to be grateful that God gave us the gift of our two feet.

REMINDERS…
*Please start to separate your child’s snack from their lunchbox– we are going to start putting out our OWN snack and want it to be as easy as possible for our preschoolers to do this independently!

**PICTURE DAY FORMS went home on Wednesday! Ordering for this is completely ONLINE, so you do not return the order forms to me. If you need assistance reach out to the office for help.
MWF Families– You are allowed to bring your student to take their picture between 8-10AM on Picture Day. When you get here, you will skip to the front of the line!

***We started PBIS- For the next 2 weeks we will be focusing on “Respect” feel free to review our matrix and what it looks like to be respectful!

Let’s Give Them Something to Talk About…
Below are some suggestions to engage your child in a conversation about what they did at school!
*We started PBIS (Positive Behavior in School) what Cardinal value are we working on?
*Ask your child what we drill we did today.
*Ask if they can tell you one of our new Spanish vocabulary words (some of our words are: Maestra/o, Amiga/o, Hora de la merienda, Calendario, Crayones, Escuela, Tapete, Ardilla & Hojas Secas)!
