What a great week! We had a great day celebrating Halloween! We got together with our buddies in the morning for a walk and a fun search and find picture after the walk.
Thank you to all the room moms that came in and planned such a great party for the kids! It was so great to see so many of you at the Trunk or Treat too.
This day is always so special. It’s so beautiful to see all the effort these families make to bring love and smiles to the kids. So much joy is shared at the Trunk or Treat, and the smiles from the young and old never disappoints.
Things to ask your children:
- What was your favorite station at your party?
- Can you sing the 5 little pumpkins song?
- Did you stick your hand in the pumpkin and pull out slime and seeds?
Next week, we welcome November, the month of gratitude, love, and so much to be thankful for!
Religion: We are all so very blessed! Your children will be bringing home a 30 days of Thankful calendar today. I hope you enjoy these talking points with your family throughout the month. I have mine on my refrigerator at home 🙂
Literacy: Jolly phonics is the letter”D” this week. The children are doing amazing with knowing all the motions.
Math: We are busy counting and graphing each day during calendar and centers.
Science and Social Studies: We will be doing lots of learning about Thanksgiving in the weeks ahead.
Have a great weekend!
The JK Team
