What a busy, busy week we had! We continued to celebrate fall, learn about pumpkins and spiders and decorate our room for Halloween. Our first class party is just a few days away and are we excited! Letter review was in full swing this week-Aa, Bb, Cc, Dd and Ee. Next week’s focus will be Ff and our letter craftivity will be perfect for Halloween!
Many events took place during Red Ribbon Week-Crazy Sock Day, Pajama Day and a PBIS assembly which included freeze dancing! One very special day I would like to mention was our very first visit to Church. We attended 8:00 Mass with our 7th Grade Buddies on Tuesday. I was very proud of all of the Preschool Kiddos. Their behavior was awesome. We are learning this year to identify the Church as a special place of prayer. Thank you, Buddies, for your kindness and guidance. Be sure to ask your child what Mr. Ochoa brought to our TLC class this week. There is a picture above in our photos. Last, a special thank you to Mrs. Arenella for organizing a pumpkin painting project for us on Thursday. It was a lot of fun to visit her classroom for this Halloween activity.
DISGUISE A TURKEY FAMILY PROJECT…
This Friday, a very special family project will be coming home. Directions will be included. These little turkeys need to be disguised so they won’t be eaten on Thanksgiving Day. Have fun and be creative:) Please complete them at home and return by November 8th. You may return them earlier if they are completed. They will be proudly displayed in the hall for all to enjoy. Parents…you can enjoy them all when you attend Parent Teacher Conferences on Nov. 21st. Have lots of fun and let your imaginations shine:)
Reminders…
*Our Halloween Party is next Tuesday. Your child may wear a costume. Please bring a treat for 20 kids for our classroom trick-or-treating. All kids are invited. If you child doesn’t attend on Tuesday, please let me know if they will be joining us. If you have any questions, please reach out.

A VERY IMPORTANT DATE…
Wednesday, December 20th-9:30/10:00am-Preschool Christmas Program. The exact time is still being finalized. This will still be a full day of school for full day students. Although it is almost 2 months away, I wanted to be sure to let all of the families know so that you can plan in advance to be here on this special day! More details to follow:)
